A New Beginning

I always love new beginnings for they offer fresh starts and anticipation of the new things to come. New Year is one of them.

I woke up feeling vibrant and recharged. I went around my garden. The air was sweet and filled with the songs of birds feasting on nature's bounty. The vibrant colors of the flowers reflected my feelings within ... gratitude, joy and abundance. What a wonderful feeling, indeed!

This seems to be a day of colours. I'm especially loving the two spiky pink/purple ones, as these are colours that I'm loving today and which call to me. Much needed colour, as winter can often be quite dark and depressing.

Peace

Have a great 2009 and I hope your dragon is being a good little dragon.

Hey, thanks for the add! Now I don't feel so lonely anymore :)

I thought that too, about the amount of food I've been through this month and all that's gotten thrown away too. That's a thought that goes through my head a lot, actually-- how incredibly lucky we are to have been born here instead of a million other places.

I thought your pictures were so beautiful and colorful and inspirational, and I loved your "daily dozen" list. Those are all things I try to do every day too! I definitely believe we reap what we sow.

Thanks for leaving a beautiful comment and following my blog. Nature has its way surprising us beyond our intellect, the flowers and landscape in your blog is symbolic of that fact...in fact i believe it has healing powers ....power to heal the soul...
Have a great year ahead.

Thanks for sharing this pictures with us. They're really full of life and made my sunday a little less gray. If only we took the time to really SEE life... and admire in it all that we, in our ignorance, destroy instead...

Happy 2009,

Cheers!

Hi,

Thanks for visiting my blog and for your comments. The pictures you included in this post are really beautiful but more than that they are relaxing, or rather they have that affect on me. Which is saying something.

I hope the new year is wonderful. It will be one of reawakening for me in many ways.

Great photos!! I need to improve my photo skills. My recent posting (showing baby seals in California) actually resulted in my losing two followers! Maybe I need to have more flower pictures in my blog??!!

Thanks for sharing these gems!
