My Private Thoughts At 36 Thousand Feet

I am tired from a whole week's work and travel. It feels great to know that it is Friday. Finally I am going home. But where is home?

I stay in two different places: one my home city, the other my home base of work. My real home is where my family is - my son and mother. That's where love is. That's where laughter sounds good. That's where peace seems constant amid the noise.

My other home, or shall I say my other residence, is where head office is. I stay in a small condo alone. That's where I talk to myself. That's where I feel so alone. That's where silence is constant.

But no matter where I am going home today, I just want to be there and enjoy my most deserved weekend.

I hope that you experience some much needed rest where ever your home is this weekend.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family.

I love the photo in your post. I've only flown a few times (except in dreams) and I loved being able to look down at the clouds.

Searching Soul, I love your photo. You have inspired me to post a photo or two that I have captured from "the window seat"

I always enjoy your thoughtful posts. Have great weekend.

Lucky you!! You are going to that BEST place of all .... Home-Sweet-Home!! In about a week from now, I am going to start yet another trip to a far away place. Don't get me wrong, I like being in new places ... but the physical part of travel does indeed involve a lot of Wear and Tear and the emotional separation from friends and family certainly takes its toll. Have a great time off and away from airports!!!

Love the photo!
I have always been tempted to whip out a camera while flying - no doubt waking up the grumpy Chinese man next to me - but I just never have.

To my dear Blog friends:

Thanks for always dropping by despite my not so frequent posts. Your comments really mean a lot to me. Rest assured that I will always find time to catch up reading your blogs, whenever I can...and hopefully have the energy to post new ones.

Carol, Lesley, and Little Girl Lost:

Thanks for wishing me that much needed rest. I also wish you the same.

Chemist:

Thanks for dropping by despite your travels. I agree with you. It's great to travel but the "wear and tear" is a price to pay for our all-expenses-paid trips.

Dan:

I will be waiting for your pictures from the window seat. I am pretty sure they are amazing.

Little J:

Never hesitate to take pictures from up there. A grumpy seatmate would be a little price to pay for a lasting breathtaking picture.
